The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation plans to establish a center for the study of health policy at Nashville’s Meharry Medical College.
Meharry is the nation’s largest, private, historically black medical school. The new think tank will target research at diversity in health policy.
The foundation will also create a multi-million dollar endowment at Meharry to support the center, which will be the largest the 130-year-old school has ever received. More details are expected next week.
