Secretary of Homeland Security Janet Napolitano asked for help over the weekend vaccinating students and others vulnerable to H1N1 flu.
“When the vaccine becomes available, we’re going to need every healthcare worker in this country working to vaccinate school age children because they are the most susceptible to this flu, and I mean that up to and including college age.”
Napolitano was in Nashville speaking to the National Guard Association as part of its annual meeting. She says states may call on the National Guard to administer vaccines at schools and to help manage lines.
