Midsate home sales were down again last month.
According to the Greater Nashville Association of Realtors, the number of closings in June was 16 percent less than in the same month last year. Figures for the year so far are down nearly 13 percent.
The group also released county-by-county data for the first half of 2011. The number of closings decreased everywhere but Cheatham County. However, Cheatham had the fewest home sales of any county in the greater Nashville area and there, as in the region as a whole, the average sale price declined.
