Metro Council withdrew a measure Tuesday night to appoint nine directors to a new Convention Center Authority, which would oversee construction of a proposed downtown convention center.
Instead the council will take up nine individual resolutions, in order to discuss each appointee separately.
That’s expected to pick up at the next meeting in two weeks.
