Metro Council members want to hear from a partner with McNeely Pigott & Fox about public relations services provided for the proposed downtown convention center. They’ve called a special meeting Monday at 6 pm.
Mike Pigott will appear with Phil Ryan, director of the Metropolitan Development and Housing Agency, and Finance Director Rich Riebeling.
McNeely Pigott & Fox had a $75,000 marketing contract for the Music City Center. The MDHA board voted to make the contract open ended and the firm has since invoiced more than $450,000, though the contract is now suspended. Some of the services include tracking blogs and twittering about the convention center.
