The state legislature is going down to the wire to decide how to – or even whether or not it should – continue the ethics commission. The body was created following the Tennessee Waltz corruption sting in 2005. If the General Assembly doesn’t reauthorize or reorganize the body this year, the ethics commission will dissolve.
